A Demon Enslaved…

Lore is a Seminus half-breed demon who has been forced to act as his dark master’s assassin. Now to earn his freedom and save his sister’s life, he must complete one last kill. Powerful and ruthless, he’ll stop at nothing to carry out this deadly mission.

An Angel Tempted…

Idess is an earthbound angel with a wild side sworn to protect the human Lore is targeting. She’s determined to thwart her wickedly handsome adversary by any means necessary—even if that means risking her vow of eternal chastity. But what begins as a simple seduction soon turns into a passion that leaves both angel and demon craving complete surrender.

Torn between duty and desire, Lore and Idess must join forces as they battle their attraction for each other. Because an enemy from the past is rising again—hellbent on vengeance and unthinkable destruction.

My Synopsis:

Lore grew up human with his twin sister Sin until the day they turned 20, and then everything changed.
Now, a century later, he finally knows what he is thanks to his newfound brothers, half Seminus demon and half human. Something that wasn’t supposed to happen, Seminus demons are not suppose to breed with human. And because of this he has a rare gift; with just the touch of his arm he can cause instant death, but he can also bring life. The former he uses often in his line of profession, as an assassin. And his master is finally giving him his one hundredth assignment that will free both him and his sister from their assassin bond. The catch, his mark is Kynan. If he kills him then Lore knows his brothers will be after him, out for blood. They already don’t trust him due to his past assignment, to kill them. But if he doesn’t then his sister’s life is forfeit and he will stop at nothing to save her.
When Lore finally has Kynan in his sights a tall & curvy package, strangely smelling of cookies steps right in the middle of them and prevents the hit.
Idess is an earthbound Angel who also grew up as human with her older brother. When he ascended over 500 years ago she was left alone to work towards ascension and become a full Angel in heaven. To do that she must work as a Memitim and protect special humans called Primori, and guess what? Kynan is her Primori. If she wants to ascend then she must protect his life and stop Lore by any means possible. And if she has to seduce him to do that then that is what she will do. She can tempt him with out being tempted as well. But when fate decides to through in an extra twist all Idess’ well-intentioned plans go to hell.
When a figure from the past is revealed Idess and Lore must work together to figure out their enemy’s plans and save Lore’s entire family from being destroyed.

My Thoughts:

Some series start to drag and get dull towards the end but not Larissa Ione’s Demonica series! Every novel is a rich and compelling story and Ecstasy Unveiled is no exception!
Lore, the newest Sem brother is just as dark and sexy as the others with a hint of all three brothers in him. Really it’s pretty evil of Larissa to give us such yummy book candy, it’s so hard to choose which is a favorite between them all!
Idess, being a celibate angel, you can imagine all the kinds of sexual tension going on in this novel and the ways her and Lore work around that little detail is more then just steamy.  The passion between these two is combustible.
Entwined in the romance is spine tingling action scenes, witty humor and mystery that come together for an unforgettable package that is highly entertaining and you will fall headlong into. There wasn’t one thing about Ecstasy Unveiled that I did not love.
